About Rockville Union Congregational Church

It may sound like a cliché, but it is true none-the-less that the most important part of a church is not the building but the people. At Union Church we strive to make that more true every day.

A long-time theme at Union Church has been "Woven Together as Christians to Serve." We believe that the Holy Spirit of God is continually weaving us together into a unique tapestry of people who come from many backgrounds and experiences and who have many talents and gifts and resources for God to use among us and in the world.

We have a dedicated pastor and staff, and many hardworking volunteers to help us fulfill our God-given purpose. We also have excellent Bible educational programs for all ages, and men’s and women's groups, all of which provide excellent opportunities to grow together “… in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Important Information:

Operation Christmas Child Update! When the Outreach Committee assembled boxes for OCC, they included electronic shipping labels on several of them. Outreach has received a report that one of our OCC shoeboxes has gone to Angola! There is a very powerful video, not from Angola, but Bosnia that we would like to share.
